Located between the Foncillon district and the Grande Conche beach<\/strong>, Royan marina<\/strong> opens onto the open sea through a channel 0.10 metres below chart datum. It has a thousand moorings and is protected from the swell by numerous breakwaters. It has a slipway, a handling system (mooring, launching, trimming, dismasting, towing) and a host of facilities (showers, internet access, etc.).

The History of Royan<\/h2>\n

Since the Middle Ages, Royan<\/a> acted as port of war<\/strong>. Situated at the foot of a fortified castle, then a citadel, this place steeped in history has welcomed and accompanied many kings and queens.<\/p>\n
